Job Description

Kanmo Group is looking for a Rockstar Brand Manager, ideally someone who has experienced to handling a Brand. You will lead and grow one of our coolest Footwear & Active Category. This role reports into the General Brand Manager and has several team member.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Planning (Sales, Margin, Profit)
  • Set and manage KPI's for Sales and Margin, OTB's, Stock Cover, Aging, Supply Chain to drive profitability of the Brand
  • Regular monitoring of sales & margin (both actual & forecast) against concept business plan to identify problem areas and thereby prepare action plan
  • Regular review of sales & stock KPI’s such as BP, LFL, Stock Turn, Sell through, Covers, Ideal Stock, Closing Stock, Markdown Spend, Ageing stock, etc
  • Review allocation & distribution strategy to secure the right assortment across the graded stores and thereby align sales & stock mix across categories
  • Review Commercial calendar to identify upcoming campaigns & collabs and thereby prepare range planning to secure effective launch
  • Liaise with VM team for timely implementation of campaign assets
  • Review merchandise allocation strategy & department grading based on forecasted sales & intakes
  • Regular meeting with brand Principal. Initiate Business review meetings monthly & quarterly with Brand Principal
  • Prepare & manage stock build plan for effective launch of new store openings
  • Prepare Pricing, Markdown & Promotional strategies for the concept
  • Bottom up by season to derive departmental buy, based on budget & forecast
  • Sign off on Monthly TDD’s based on forward sales plan
  • Buy plan analysis to determine high/low closing stock depts and thereby review their respective OTB’s based on left to act
  • New Store Opening – mapping & allocation plan to secure launch
  • Coordinate with Project teams on Capex preparation, timelines, fit out or refurbishment in coordination Adidas principal
  • Liaise and follow up with IT department for all IT related concerns and support
  • Set & drive the team’s daily routines & priorities, ensure the deadlines are met
  • Mentor & Coach the team and thereby groom them to the next level

Requirements :

  • Bachelor/Master Degree from Business Management, Sports, Managements
  • Minimum 5-8 years of retail experience in Merchandising, buying roles and have handled any International brands, apparel or footwear category
  • Has good analytical skill and excellent interpersonal skill; exceptionally fluent in
    English
  • Proactive with a dynamic personality and strong leadership and collaborative skills, as well as the ability to demonstrate strategic thinking and strong problem solving skills in order to drive the business performance
  • Has a strong interest and love for sports
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and Bahasa are must
