Job Description

Opella Healthcare Indonesia – OHI is a newly created entity which will start to operate on 1st July 2022. This entity will generate ~400b net sales on a full year basis, and will include ~40 employees.

The Accounts payable specialist will be part of the finance team (5 team members in total), reporting to the Head of Finance.

Takes full ownership of Accounts Payable Ledgers including:

  • Responsible to ensure invoices are processed in line with relevant internal and external regulations and controls
  • Ensure adherence to 3-way match concept in the review of invoices and payments and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of recording in the accounting systems
  • Maintaining accurate financial GL and AP sub ledgers, accurate and complete financial records of third party vendors and employees
  • Manage monthly closing of AP: review of Aged Creditors, review of Debit Balance Reports, analysis of GL accounts in relation to accounts payable, reconciliations between sub/general ledger
  • Develop, implement, and improve AP processes to increase accuracy and efficiency
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure Good-Receipt is done on time
  • Responsible of reviewing and approving T&E (travels and entertainment) claims by employees and ensure compliance with Sanofi rules.
  • Assist with the preparation of the year-end audit and liaison with auditors relating to the Account Payable ledgers
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as required
  • Support in AP related projects across Indonesia
  • Support in Projects related to P2P activities as required by Head of Finance

The AP specialist will report to CHC Head of Finance Operations.

Requirements:

Functional

  • Hands-on experience of SAP and other IT/purchasing tools
  • Digital acumen to leverage IT to drive process simplification
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Advanced skills in excel

Interpersonal

  • Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner
  • Team player, cooperating with direct and remote teams with an end to end service delivery mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Analytical mind and should be pro-active. Should have strong attention to details

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
  • Must be proficient in English and Bahasa (interviews to be conducted in English), strong in written and verbal communication skills

Experience

  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in handling AP
  • Exposure to working with or within a global company.
