Summary:The work schedule for this position is:
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (4 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
On occasion, will travel and represent the FPD in austere or remote locations throughout Indonesia.
Under the supervision of the Force Protection Detachment (FPD) Indonesia, Resident Agent in Charge (RAC), position performs all administrative functions to include but not limited to budget administration and management, administrative and operational procurement and travel management for Force Protection Detachment (FPD) personnel. Maintains daily liaison with Bi-Mission Jakarta sections and select host nation entities throughout Indonesia.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum two (2) years of work experience in an office setting.
(please note that one credited year of working experience is equal to 40 hours/week x 52 weeks or 2080 hours)
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must possess a basic understanding of U.S. federal law enforcement agencies and their roles and responsibilities. Understanding of Department of State internal procedures (post policies, management instructions and executive office correspondence) and regulation (12 FAM and 12 FAH on State Department Regulations of Security). Job holder also must become familiar with Force Protection Detachment (FPD)/Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) rules on operational, financial and administrative matters.
EDUCATION: Completion of two (2) years (60 semester hours) of college/universities studies is required.
(Please note that you need to submit U.S. education equivalency certification/transcript if you studied in a foreign college/university).
LANGUAGE: Must possess fluency in English speaking/reading/writing is required (this may be tested)
SKILLS AND ABILITIES : Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET level security clearance. Must possess the ability to professionally represent the FPD to internal and external entities. Must be able to communicate effectively to Bi-Mission Jakarta executive office and senior staff personnel. Proficiency in the utilization of computer systems and software. Familiarization with formulating official diplomatic letters and correspondence. Posses the ability to manage a large operational and housing budget through organization ad sound mathematical skills.
