Key responsibilities

  • Own the customer experience by managing and executing the end-to-end shipment process, co-ordinating with vendor and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure the whole shipment lifecycle is executed smoothly, monitor agreed service-level agreements and identify root causes if expectations are not met.
  • Provides quality service to both internal and external customers, responds to all enquiries in a timely and accurate manner
  • Build customer relationships and be curious about their business needs and drivers, in order to better serve them and identify new business opportunities.
  • Focuses on high-quality data to set a high standard for all the assignments managed
  • May perform root cause analyses in the event of escalations, owns all customer issues and facilitates their timely and effective resolution by engaging relevant internal stakeholders
  • Passionately do upselling to promote Maersk, attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions and suggesting information about other products and services
  • Support the digitization agenda by positively influencing customers’ uptake of new e-features

We are looking for

  • Previous customer service experience in logistics and supply chain will be an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role, preferably one that involved any form of critical thinking.
  • Can handle pressure and high volume of customers.
  • Personable, energetic and excellent communication skills.
  • Someone who is an excellent team player and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Should have the ability to converse with people of all levels and is well organised, efficient and effective
