Panagora Group, a small, woman-owned business providing novel and integrated solutions in global health and international development, is supporting USAID/Indonesia to implement its new Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS) through a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Platform (MEL-P) Activity. MEL-P provides its services through five components: 1) monitoring support services, 2) designing and conducting performance and impact evaluations, 3) providing research, assessment, and data analysis, 4) providing consulting and advisory services and logistical support services, and 5) initiating collaboration, learning, and adapting activities. Along with enhancing MEL capability, we also promote use of the empirical evidence for programming, learning, and adapting as USAID supports the Government of Indonesia (GOI).
MEL-P is supporting USAID/Indonesia Office of Health with the recruitment of an Administration and Liaison Assistant to support the Ministry of Health.
The focus of the assignment will be on the overall USAID Health portfolio, including all technical areas under MOH. This specifically entails:
Carry out administrative tasks, including correspondence, archiving and reporting related to USAID’s program in Indonesia.
Monitor and track the process of letters from/to USAID.
Attend and coordinate meetings related to USAID projects under the USAID-MOH GIA, as requested.
Write minutes of meetings and submit them to the KSLN and USAID.
Implement USAID – Ministry of Health GIA made for the Administration and Liaison Assistant.
Carry out and ensure that administrative work is done on time.
Coordinate workflows with USAID – Ministry of Health staff for USAID Health programs.
Provide support to relevant reporting systems (monthly, quarterly, and annual reports).
Process USAID – Ministry of Health Goods and Services Proceedings (BAST) in a timely manner.
Carry out other related tasks as given by the Head of KSLN with approval from USAID.
The Administration and Liaison Assistant is responsible for carrying out the administrative functions of USAID Activities under the USAID-MOH GIA.
Requirements
At least Bachelor’s degree in public health, International Cooperation, Management or equivalent.
At least 6 months in international cooperation, management.
Fluent in Indonesian and English (verbal, written, presentation)
Follow the developments of and understand the rules/regulations/legislations of the Government of Indonesia in force, especially regarding health and grant management.
Understand the mechanism of Ministry Health
Ability to work independently and under minimum supervision. Ability to work together effectively in teams and take initiatives in dealing with problems.
Proactive and can-do attitude.
Strong capability to work in a team.
Excellent organizational skills (ability to prioritize tasks, meet deliverables under tight deadlines, and ability to manage competing responsibilities).
Indonesian citizenship required.
