Summary:

The work schedule for this position is:


  • Full Time (40 hours per week)


Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (4 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Duties

Incumbent handles all types of non-immigrant visa applications. Responsibilities cover the full range of NIV services, including but not limited to intake and document screening, data entry, production of visas, distribution of visa-ed passports to applicants, filing NIV records, interpreting from Indonesian to English, and providing information orally and in writing.


Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE:


Two years of progressively responsible experience working with international or multinational organizations or companies involving the application of regulatory material and extensive public contact, including customer service is required.


(Please note that one credited year of working experience is equal to 40 hours/week x 52 weeks or 2080 hours.)

Education Requirements:

At least two years of full time post secondary education (equal to 60 credit hours) in any discipline/field is required.


Evaluations:

LANGUAGE: Must be fluent speaking/reading/writing in Indonesian and English. This may be tested

Benefits: Agency Benefits:

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Indonesia may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.


For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.


The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.

Acceptable documentation must be submitted in order for the preference to be given.


** This level of preference applies to all Foreign Service employees on LWOP and CS with re-employment rights back to their agency or bureau.
