Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a Growing Battery Recycling Manufacturer for the role of General Manager. As the company is continuously growing, our client is seeking a professional with at least 15 - 20 years of strong experience in Sales, Technical, and Plant Manufacturing. The job is based in Central Java, Indonesia.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and growth: Overseeing the company business plan, yearly budget, and financial target
  • Sales & Business Development: Seeking new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
  • Operational Management: Managing daily operations and leading the battery recycling (Lead Acid Battery) & lead production activities
  • Project Management: Provide an outstanding project management approaches to the development and expansion of battery collection points to secure supply as well as market expansion.
  • Relationship Management: Managing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders from all sectors
  • Evaluate impact performance, and ensure the factory is energy efficient, environmentally friendly, and has a good engagement with communities
  • Manage and coordinate key management teams and outsourced functions

Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or equivalent. Advanced degree preferred
  • Management experience in manufacturing or related field. Senior management experience in running a manufacturing company preferred
  • Minimum 15 years of managerial experience with exposure in the manufacturing industry
  • Passion for economy/recycling and social environment impact. Experience in metal-related manufacturing would be a plus
  • Fluent communication in Bahasa and English
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and management skills
  • Willing to be placed in Central Java
