We have now released our powerful content library of more than 74,000 videos into our mobile app in June 2019, and the company has just received seed funding from investors. We are about to embark on a hyper-growth phase to accelerate learning outcomes for K-12 students in Indonesia.
Delivering a great learning experience for students is of high importance for us. Therefore, we're looking for Bahasa Indonesia Tutor to be our frontline in handling Bahasa Indonesia content learning needs and participate in transforming Indonesian education with us. The Bahasa Indonesia Tutor must provide the concept of science in a fun way so students enjoy what they are learning.
What You Will be Doing:
Communicate with relevant stakeholders to get full understanding of the objectives, workflow, and evaluation of the project.
Lead tutors to design and develop content flows from the curriculum structure given by the curriculum team to support the production process.
Lead tutors to communicate with the production team regarding the design and development of animation script based on the whiteboard videos.
Lead the allocation of tutors workload regarding production processes requested to the elementary tutors team.
Develop training with the curriculum team to improve tutors ability to fulfill given tasks, troubleshoot problems faced by the team, and consult tutors regarding their career development.
Performs other related duties as required and coordinated by corresponding parties.
Professional:
Knowledge and understanding of Indonesian elementary school curriculum;
Ability to develop learning plan for given learning goals and specifications;
Ability to cater explanations of given learning goals through on-line methods;
Ability to do explain and engage children with storytelling;
Ability to lead development and allocation of tutors on the team.
Collaborative, cooperative, and well-mannered to establish and maintain effective relationships and work environment with members of other divisions, e.g. curriculum team, product, and tech,
Knowledge and ability to use various electronic internet sources and databases.
Ability to apply judgment in the context of assignments given, plan own work and manage conflicting priorities.
Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking to deliver learning by utilizing creative learning media other than just whiteboard (papers, using 3D tools, etc).
Communication:
Speaks and writes clearly and effectively in both English and Bahasa Indonesia;
Listens to others, correctly interpret messages from others and responds appropriately;
Inquisitive;
Ability to empathize and communicate well with children (especially elementary school kids);
Demonstrate openness in sharing information and keeping people informed.
Education and Work Experience
Deep and extensive experience designing lesson plans for elementary students.
Deep and extensive in-classroom teaching experience to elementary students.
