Job Description

In this role you will be responsible for consulting and actuarial expertise in the areas of retirement plan design, compliance, risk and financial management to meet business objectives.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for performing actuarial valuation for client’s long term benefit plans.
  • Collecting and analyzing data and benefit programs to determine appropriate assumptions.
  • Utilizing Microsoft office and/or actuarial softwares to calculate and prepare actuarial reports, both accounting and funding valuation.
  • Analyzing and reviewing post-retirement plan designs and cost implications.
  • Collaborating with consultants to assist creation and presentation of project proposals.
  • Assisting administrative tasks for project documentation.
  • Working together with Project Managers and Client Team to ensure each project is completed on-time and meet the professional standard excellence.
  • Completing budget timesheet, monitoring time spent on project to enhance efficiency, and maintaining accurate time records.

The Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial, Mathematics or Statistics, Master degree will be an advantage
  • Successful completion of 1 Actuarial Exam (Indonesian or International)
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Previous experience in programming language (eg. Visual Basix, R)
  • Ability to be a self starter, work independently and collaboratively with other team where required
  • Passionate in solving problems and eager to learn new things
  • Detail oriented and sense of accountability
  • Previous experience in Defined Benefit retirement work
  • Strong English language skill, both oral and written
