Summary:The work schedule for this position is:
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (4weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
This position provides a range of administrative assistance to the Overseas Criminal Investigations Office (OCI). This position also entails transporting OCI staff members on official duties to meetings with Indonesian law enforcement and Immigration officials and private sector security contacts throughout Indonesia using vehicles from the OCI fleet. The Administrative Assistant / Chauffeur maintains regular contact with host nation counterparts to facilitate timely entry to requested venues. The incumbent supports the OCI office for administrative resources and activities, including but not limited to, scheduling venues, procurement and supply purchasing, maintenance of vehicle and / or office equipment, information technology and systems, financial admin related to specific duties, and travel needs.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum two years of administrative or clerical work experience that includes at least one year of professional driving experience is required.
EDUCATION: Completion of two years of college (university) studies is required.
Evaluations:LANGUAGE: Good Working Knowledge of both English and Indonesian languages is required. (This may be tested).
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) to create documents, spreadsheets and to maintain and update databases. Basic financial administration and budgeting skills. Uses DOS specific proprietary software and other web-based systems. Ability to work under pressure, to prioritize, and exercise independent judgement for different aspects of tasks, workshops and other events. Maintains effective working relationships, at different levels, across multiple offices at Post. Good interpersonal skills are required when dealing with with host government officials, visitors, and the public - whether in person, online, and on the phone. Must have excellent time management skills to cope with the diversity of work and deadlines. Driving - Possession of valid Indonesia Motor Vehicle Driving License (SIM B1). (Driving skills may be tested).

COVID-19 Requirements for Eligible Family Members
As required by Executive Order 14043, Eligible Family Members who will be employed on a Family Member Appointment (FMA) or a Temporary Appointment (TEMP) are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 regardless of the employee’s duty location or work arrangement (e.g., telework, remote work, etc.), subject to such exceptions as required by law. Eligible Family Members who will be employed on a Personal Services Agreement and compensated under the USG pay plan will be required to attest to their vaccination status using the Vaccine Attestation Form. Candidates who will be employed on either a Personal Services Agreement or a direct hire appointment and compensated under the Mission’s Local Compensation Plan will be required to follow all Mission COVID-19 policies applicable to Locally Employed Staff.
