Senior Hook Up & Commissioning Engineer (Mechanical) - ( 2200025 )

Job Overview:

Responsibility is supervision of onshore Pre-comm & commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Reviewing the Scope of Work and Other relevant information to the Project.
  • Drive sub system completion in line with the commissioning requirements
  • Actively participate and coordinate the piping / mechanical sub system MC walkdown.
  • Coordinate the closure of outstanding punch items for an acceptable SS handover to commissioning.
  • Ensuring adequate number of Senior technician / technician support is required to complete the commissioning execution in a timely manner.
  • Generation of project commissioning function test procedures
  • Review project documentation P&ID’s / C&E’s/ UFD’s/ PFD’s.
  • Ensuring adequate Equipment’s, Tools & Consumables to be used onshore & offshore. Prepare request if additional types & quantities are required.
  • Liaise with the fabrication yard Supervisors regarding Manpower and equipment to be utilized Onshore.
  • Liaise with HSE manager regarding Safety Officers and Equipment’s to be utilized Onshore
  • Supervise load-out and the tie-down of Hook-up & commissioning materials & Equipment’s in preparation for sail away.
  • Supervising the commissioning execution, as specified in the contract and other relevant Documents
  • Reviewing engineering documentation and generate the required ITR’s to record pre comm and comm activities
  • Ensuring that rental Tools & Equipment’s are returned to the Vendor as quickly as possible
  • Encourage high standard of safe working practice, quality and productivity as well as compliance with the code of business conducts.
  • Generate commissioning function test procedures for process mechanical sub systems.
  • Review sub system boundary drawings and validate all work scope is captured within PIMSCMS
  • Actively track the closure of Sub system related B punch in advance of system handover to the client.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Take responsibility and supervise the onshore process commissioning activities under the supervision of the lead discipline engineer

  • Undertake any reasonable request made by the discipline lead engineer to safely and successfully maintain the project sail away date

  • Experience +10 years and above

  • Diploma in process / mechanical Engineering (preference)
