Job Description

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
To achieve profitable and sustainable market growth within franchise accounts, while aligning with adidas brand image & strategy and ensuring target achievement
Key Responsibilities:
Functional
  • Execute the Franchise strategy in line with the Market targets and priorities and developing the Franchise store network with existing and new Franchise partners
  • Support the Franchise strategy for the Markets, including (but not limited to) store rollout plan, Franchise partner strategy, financial targets, KPI targets, priorities, etc.
  • Pursue additional business opportunities and apply a strategic mid-long term approach within the accounts
  • Ensure a win-win when negotiating trade terms for both adidas and franchise customers
  • Negotiate, implement and track action plans to achieve set annual net sales target
  • Provide realistic business plans and forecasts that is aligned with the company’s longer-range plan
  • To internally represent the franchise account towards all functions and vice versa. Manage all interfaces:
    • By frequently addressing the main account requirements across functions
    • By proactively coordinating/ facilitating meetings with other functions and accounts
  • Develop business strategies:
    • By ensuring quarterly updates of strategic account initiatives
    • By presenting strategic initiatives to local management team
    • And establish a regular account visit schedule
  • Monitor order book and ensure reliable and cost-efficient supply of products for the franchise accounts, as well as effectively respond to customer’s needs and requests while minimizing customer complaints:
    • Conduct and share sell through information from account
    • Proactively facilitate meeting/business reviews with designated operations team and Customer Service
  • Drive sell-in and agree on sell-through support, as well as proactively lead the sell in process alignment across internal functions,
  • Support the opening process for new stores through new store location proposals and official sign-offs
  • Monitor and report the market trends and competitors in the area

Controlling
  • Drive franchisee’s sell in KPIs: NS, BOH, MOH

Compliance
  • Observe both global and local policies and procedures in all dealings;
  • Support APAC changes and directions;
  • Perform other tasks as may be assigned from time to time

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Preferably 3 years in Sales of Key Account Management Excellent communication skills including impactful presentation skills, influencing and negotiating Advanced numeracy and literacy, with good IT skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) PC literature, excellent oral and written communication skills in English and local languages
Pre-requisite Knowledge / Skills Degree in Business or related field
