Job Description

Position Summary:

Alterra’s Auditor will be responsible for conducting audit based on yearly audit plan along with the Senior Auditor and Junior Auditor and carry out tasks in accordance with the code of ethics and standard implementation of the audit that has been set and assist superiors for administration required in managing the internal audit function in the company.

Area of Responsibility:

  • Assisting Senior Auditor During planning activity and responsible for business processes such as procurement end to end processes, Etc.
  • Performing testing (analysis, observation, verification) related to the audit program.
  • Performing an interview to the auditee to obtain information related to the audit program
  • Assisting Senior Auditor During Fieldwork and responsible for business processes such as procurement end to end processes, Etc.
  • Performing testing (analysis, observation, verification) related to the audit program.
  • Performing an interview with the auditee to obtain information related to the audit program.
  • Perform coaching to junior auditors should any needs arise.
  • Assisting Internal Audit Senior Auditor during reporting activity, in accordance with the reporting standards set in Alterra’s Internal Audit division.
  • Make sure all audit documentation related to the audit project i.e (Working paper, supporting documents, closing meeting materials, audit report, etc) have been documented in accordance with the method employed by Alterra’s Internal Audit division
  • Support Senior Auditor to ensure the implementation of corrective action

Positions Requirements:

  • At a minimum of Bachelor Degree majoring in accounting/management/information system/IT related degree from a reputable university with a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4
  • One year of working experience in Internal Audit (Professional service firm.)
  • Or two years of working experience as an internal auditor or data analytics of a company.
  • Exposure to standards (e.g.IIA Standard, ISO 27001), frameworks (e.g. COSO, COBIT, ITIL), technical systems, and emerging technologies
  • Hands-on experience in data analytic and data visualization tools such as (but not limited to) SQL, Google BigQuery, Google Data Studio, ACL, etc.
  • Proficient in English both oral and written communication
  • Solid understanding of IT environment (server, database, network), finance, and some business functions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively and foster teamwork with peers and other functional areas inside and outside of IT along with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
