Call for Experts - USAID/Indonesia New Municipal Solid Waste Management and Partnership (Selaras)

ECODIT is seeking applications from qualified experts for the anticipated five-year USAID Indonesia New Municipal Solid Waste Management and Partnership (Selaras) Activity, which will help Indonesia achieve its development goal of reducing marine plastic pollution by improving urban waste management through public institution strengthening and private sector partnerships.
ECODIT seeks candidates for long-term technical assistance (LTTA) and short-term technical assistance (STTA) positions with experience and expertise in the following technical areas. Candidates will ideally have strong experience working on service delivery, local governance, and municipal engagement issues in an international development context, particularly those funded by USAID in Indonesia and/or Southeast Asia.

Qualified candidates will have the following minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience supporting complex government/donor funded projects; experience working on USAID projects highly preferred. Advanced academic degrees in relevant fields are highly desirable;
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge and expertise in at least one of the areas listed above;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, along with superb attention to detail and organizational skills; and
  • Fluency in one or more relevant languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia) preferred.
