Job Description

Job Summary

  • Lead a production team to meet operations KPIs of safety, quality, on time delivery and cost effective
  • Provide guidance to the team technician
  • Drive process improvements through the usage of CMS and Lean Six Sigma tools
  • Ensure a production team safely use and maintain machine tools, equipment per procedure and work instruction (WI)
  • Ensure safety guidelines and standard strictly implemented in shop operation
  • Provide guidance to technicians in various manufacturing functions and ensure a team to perform a good quality production
  • Manage day-to-day production to optimize resource and achieve on time delivery and best productivity
  • Ensure the smooth workflow of the shop by managing the manpower through responsibilities assignment and schedules preparation for the team
  • Work to continuously improve in all areas to be in line with plant’s objectives and KPIs
  • Implement and maintain shop production standard per CMS Elements: SFDM, 6S, TPM, A4 problem solving, ESP, RIE, SMED
  • Perform coaching and counselling for employees to improve shop performance
  • Chair toolbox meetings, objective setting and performance review for the team
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • More than 5 years hands on experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent preferred
