Department & Role

Allen & Overy is a truly global adviser and we boast an enviable geographic footprint. Our banking team spans all of our offices and works seamlessly with a global community of relationship law firms giving us access to a further 118 countries. This platform provides our clients with the confidence that they will receive the highest quality advice in both their domestic markets and as they expand into new territories.

The Banking group has a particular focus on leverage finance, acquisition finance, restructuring, private equity driven finance, property/real estate finance, project finance, share-backed finance and general corporate financings. The team is consistently ranked tier 1 across all of the major legal directories. Our work spans a variety of sectors ranging from financial services, insurance, mining, infrastructure, real estate and retail to telecommunications and manufacturing.

We are looking for a banking associate to join our Banking team in Jakarta.

Role Requirements
  • Bachelor in law from notable university in Indonesia;
  • You will have a minimum of 2 years PQE in managing transactional deals across multiple sectors;
  • Must have strong banking transactional experience;
  • Confident and self-motivated
  • Strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to deliver creative and pragmatic solutions;
  • Excellent team player - ability to work cross culture and build a strong positive rapport with colleagues and clients;
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia in both writing and speaking.
