Position: Fitness Instructor (Full time #531012)

Duties and Responsibilities

To report directly to the Fitness and Recreation Manager.
To keep work area immaculate clean and neat at all times.
To ensure that a high standard of service is maintained throughout the Fitness Centre.
To ensure customer satisfaction from arrival to departure in accordance to standards and procedures manual and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Legendary Quality Experience (LQE).
To assist in the operations of all fitness centre departments as required.
To maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene as lay down by the Fitness and Recreation Manager.
To assist in all areas of the fitness centre as and when necessary.
To assist in the smooth flow of the guests journey throughout the day.
To assist with cleaning of pool area outside of operating hours.
To ensure that the health and safety company standards are maintained and carried out. They must be monitored regularly to assist in scoring 100% on the MOHG health and safety audit
To attend to guests in both the relaxation, waiting areas and fitness centre ensuring that they are comfortable as well as offering refreshments.
To greet each guest with a smile and acknowledge guest even in passing.
To proactively offer assistance to all fitness centre guests when necessary.
To conduct fitness assessments, personal training & classes.
To supervise and instruct the safe use of the equipment in the Fitness area.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years related experiences, preferably in luxury hotel Fitness and Recreation.
Must possess Fitness Instructor/ Yoga/ Pilates/ Aerobic certification.
Complete understanding of wellness and holistic lifestyle.
Understanding all aspects of fitness centre facilities and treatment retail area.
Excellent Guest care and service skills, dedicated in helping guests.
Excellent English and Indonesian communication skills both written/verbal.
Excellent coordination and organization skills.
Computer literate and scheduling skills.
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Possess high degree of stamina, agility and flexibility.
Takes initiative and pro-activity.
Self-motivated and high interest in self-development.
