  • Guide and Lead procurement specialists in finding new supply sources for new systems, cost savings, alternative sourcing, and other forms of required supplies
  • Revise bids, orders created by procurement specialists and approve them for further action
  • Monitor and continuously improve suppliers delivery and quality performance.
  • Conduct necessary actions to deal with poor-performing suppliers
  • Conduct negotiations with current and potential suppliers
  • Develop negotiation tactics and plan negotiation strategies for upcoming sessions
  • Develop process to streamline the overall administrative of procurement
  • Allocate budget to subordinates to procurement specialists given the category of supplies they specialize in
  • Conduct negotiations for high-cost, strategic items with vendors and suppliers

Job Requirements :

  • Bachelors of business, supply chain management or any other related field
  • 4 years of professional procurement experience
  • Good understanding of IT systems
  • 2+ years in a managerial position
  • 2+ years in a tech firm
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Well versed in contract development, set up and execution
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
