What will you do?

  • Ensure the application of the commodity strategy and align on the key supplier’s panel.
  • Propose productivity actions (Negotiations, Change of Suppliers, Quality Value Engineering) within his/her perimeter in consistency with commodity strategy.
  • Identify new technologies/suppliers, characterize gaps between needs & current panel.
  • Provide local market intelligence and new products launch requirements to build sourcing strategies.
  • Share key choices with commodity managers/cross functional team.
  • Manage supplier consultation & selection, according to commodity strategy.
  • Manage supply qualification; negotiate and manage contracts/agreements with local/specific suppliers (price, delivery, terms and conditions, ..)
  • Monitor and ensure competitive material cost to meet product target cost (design/redesign to cost).
  • Participate to cost estimation.
  • Get and analyze supplier quotes.
  • Contribute to the procurement database update by providing necessary information to commodity managers / supplier leaders / plants update database of spend; update specific basis.
  • First escalation level for supplier crisis management.
  • Implement the quality and cost reduction objective related to action plan/productivity program.

Qualifications

Who will be successful?

  • Engineering bachelor’s degree (Preferred Electrical)
  • 7 years of relevant experience in Procurement.
  • Excellent command of English language.
  • Professional user of MS office.
  • Ability to work with team.
  • Adhering to principles & values.
  • Learning & Researching.
  • Adapting & responding to change.
  • Taking initiatives.
  • High level of Ownership.
