Activities and Responsibilities
1. Engages and maintains professional relationships with members of central and local government entities and parliaments.
2. Researches and monitors government and its thinktank activities that could shape healthcare ecosystem in overall and affect the organizations business.
3. Scan and interpret relevant policies, regulations and trends and share it on a regular basis to relevant internal stakeholders
4. Collaborates with internal network (APAC, GEM, Global), industry advocates, and other relevant stakeholders includes but is not limited to healthcare professional associations, hospitals associations, etc. for policy priority and policy development.
5. Assists IDLT of PT Takeda Indonesia with strategic planning for known and potential regulatory and policies activities related to the business and pharmaceutical / healthcare industry.
6. Able to articulate our Access to Medicine initiatives and connect internal team strategic imperative and tactical plan to enable faster and better access to our innovative medicine.
7. Understand all relevant rules, regulation, and procedures related to compliance.
8. Demonstrate PTRB, ethical and compliant behavior in all activities.
Job Specification
1. Bachelor degree or higher, preferable in public health or public policy or health policy
2. 3-5 years’ experience in public policy and government affairs works
3. In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Indonesian healthcare system, health system inter-dependencies, and practices; in particular in relation to authorities and related political decision making processes and mechanism.
4. Proven ability to develop trust-based relationships with key government officials and parliamentary representatives
