Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience working in sales, media, advertising, e-commerce or digital industry.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Bahasa Indonesia fluently.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, and/or clients and influencing C-level stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Product knowledge across all digital advertising products areas.
  • Ability to manage a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, and achieve goals to drive growth.
  • Ability to strategically assess and solve client needs via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and selling.
  • Demonstrated ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. As an Account Strategist in Southeast Asia, you'll be in charge of a portfolio of small to medium-sized business accounts. You'll provide them with excellent consultancy services and help advertisers grow their business through a combination of one-to-one, scalable outreach, and support.

You will work in partnership with key advertisers to understand their strategies and increase their understanding of Google's advertising solutions, as well as provide them with tactical implementation and maintenance support of their Google Ads accounts. You'll deliver value through creative advertising solutions and strategic advice.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with executive key stakeholders to understand their larger business objectives/challenges.
  • Understand and help solve client challenges and directly influence budget planning.
  • Drive client adoption of digital as a media channel.
  • Work with clients to identify partnership opportunities and advocate Google as a trusted business partner.
  • Identify opportunities to increase advertiser performance/engagement and achieve client success.
