The Role Responsibilities

We are looking for talented individual with strong expertise in Python to develop and drive automation for network services in Standard Chartered Bank. The role is to transform current network delivery through standardization, automation, and innovation to achieve faster, scalable, and efficient network project delivery.

Business

  • Own and drive automation initiatives related to Network Infrastructure deployment in conjuction with various teams, i.e. automation, engineering, operation, and/or security
  • Automate end to end process by developing and/or deploying automation software and scripting
  • Develop and deploy new software, workflow and script to automate identified manual process to achieve One Touch Provisioning
  • Maintain up to date documentation align with the requirements and design
  • Work with OEM Vendors to drive automation on all Network Deployment activities
  • Collaboration with other teams to discuss and understand the requirements and deliver projects speed to market and on demand
  • Able to work in Agile environment to deliver requirements speed to market.

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
  • Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in software development and automation
  • Working knowledge in designing Infrastructure as a Code (IAC) process, methodology and implementation
  • Strong experience in scripting and programming language like Python and Ansible
  • Strong experience in API development and system integration
  • Experience in Service Integration with Industry platforms like ServiceNow
  • Working knowledge in Linux/Unix environment
  • Knowledge and experience in AppViewX Automation product suites
  • Preferable to have experience in SDLC and DevOps
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure is a plus
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skill
