Job Description

The UX and Product Research Specialist do user experience research through the product development process, ensuring that the digital products that built meet the the UX and UI vision based on discovery research, user needs, customer insights and feedback

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
1. Plan and Conduct research initiatives

  • Plan and execute research initiatives to collect insights into user behavior by exploring both UX research to understand users’ experience in using a product
  • Conducting market research to understand the market landscape for a certain product or brand
  • Run product research, mainly through competitive benchmarking
  • Employ various research methods ranging from surveys and in-depth interviews to usability testing and contextual study
  • Decide the best method to get valid and reliable insights for research purposes
  • Synthesize data, develop conclusive and actionable insights in a report, and deliver product improvements suggestions based on your insights
  • Lead finding presentations and facilitate brainstorming sessions with other teams
  • Collaborate closely with different teams in each project (mainly product, product design, business development, and marketing) to provide impactful insights for their decision-making process
  • Monitor how your insights are implemented in the product, design, or business development
  • Identify and understand the company strategies and direction and contribute by seeking relevant insights into user needs and market trends

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Design or Engineering
  • At least 2 years of experience as UX and Product Research
  • Experience in user research and produce actionable insight.
  • Experience in unicorn, tech company (or tech-driven company), and equivalent is a plus.
