The Country Manager is managing and developing all ADM Feed Additive & Ingredient businesses in Indonesia. The manager is fully top-line responsible for the in the area of responsibility. The manager is furthermore responsible for developing the overall Feed Additive & Ingredient Business marketing plan and sales support of all the products. The manager designs, develops, and executes marketing strategies and advises in advertising and promotional activities research and evaluation and launches of new products. The manager will also manage most important strategic key accounts.
Responsibilities
Direct and oversee sales & marketing activities for the Country.
Formulate commercial strategies to achieve agreed sales, margins and market share objectives in the region for Feed-additives & Ingredients products
Manage costs according to agreed targets and structure resources, people and expenses to achieve marketing and sales results according to the agreed budget
Detail and implement the strategic roadmap, major projects, to exponentially grow Feed Additive & Ingredient business
Manage, motivate, train and evaluate distributors/agents and also do selection/screening and appointment new distributors
Visit customers and prospects, negotiate prices and prepare offers/quotations, budget responsibility (volume and margin) for geographical markets
Direct and implement the Annual Marketing Plan and Distributor Business Plan with Global Feed Additive & Ingredient Business Development and Product Managers
Manage directly a select number of mega key accounts with the support of Product/Technical Managers
Marketing responsibility; decides on a suitable product positioning (including pricing recommendation) and defines focus points for developments in the countries
Conveys the Sales & Marketing strategy into regional and global levels, requests for necessary external support and communicates with Sister Organizations ADM Animal Nutrition on needs and opportunities
Ensures in depth intelligence of market conditions and competitor data and develops marketing strategies (marketing plan) and provides market data and is responsible for top-line budget-reviews
Oversees and participates in training of staff and customers by transfer of knowledge within and outside the organization through training sessions, seminars, mailings and conferences
Manages and oversees launch of new innovations as well as oversees product-management
Gives input to the ‘Advertising & Promotion Plan’ to bring a message across that is in line with the marketing strategy through advertisements, editorials, exhibitions, seminars, mailings and other promotions
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor Degree from Animal Nutrition, Husbandry, or Veterinary Medicine Major
Minimum 15 years working experience in livestock industry (Nutrition/Genetic/Pharma)
Have Technical & Professional Knowledge and also relevant field experience about poultry/swine management, genetics, animal health or/and nutrition
A strong team player with high business acumen
Have excellent marketing and sales capabilities
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
Ability to identify new business opportunities using relevant research tools, participate in technical and operational discussions around animal production and scientific data collection
Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation
Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions
Building relationship skills, collaboration, project management skill
Ensure all received materials are examine according to excise parameters/product return parameters and all nonconformities/counterfeit suspected are reported onâ¦
