Job Description

Avirtech provides crop intelligence to some of the top plantations in the world. Based in Jakarta, we are looking for a freelance talented and experienced Video Editor to join our team.

Job Scope / Responsibilities :

  • Meeting with the director, client or team to determine production vision.
  • Reviewing raw material to determine the shot list.
  • Gather and transfer all forms of media into editing software and ensure each was updated in the correct format.
  • Manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques.
  • Maintaining continuity while moving shots according to scene value.
  • Trimming footage and putting together the rough project.
  • Inserting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects.
  • Ensuring the project follows a logical sequence.
  • Establish a clear understanding of the story line and purpose of the video's creation.
  • Consulting with the director and team throughout the project.
  • Creating the final cut for broadcasting.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field.
  • Previous work experience as a video editor.
  • Experienced with editing software, including Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premier, and etc.
  • Creative and artistic skills.
  • Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects.
  • Portfolio of completed projects.
  • Ability to work to a tight schedule and multitask.
  • Ability to translate ideas into complete projects.
  • Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representation of planned edits for video projects.
  • Excellent communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of project scope and implementation.

Job Types: Temporary, Contract

Salary: Rp1,000,000 - Rp5,000,000 per month
