About the Role
As our Sales Special Projects Associate, you will be instrumental in implementing initiatives to continuously improve sales operational processes performed by Gojek Sales team nationwide. Along with process improvement, your project management, analytical and problem solving skills are essential as you will manage various sales projects that aim to achieve Gojek’s company targets. You will advocate for our merchant partners’ needs internally on a day-to-day basis, and as such you will work closely with internal sales team and relevant stakeholders to ensure proper and data-driven solutions are implemented on timely manner to help address merchants’ diverse needs & pain points.
What You Will Do
Oversee core sales operational processes including merchant’s onboarding and post-onboarding processes
Ensure that new processes/product features/updates that have direct impact to sales operational processes are properly socialized and communicated to the sales team
Manage projects from planning to execution with structured thinking and data-driven approach
Ensure that merchant partners’ requirements/needs are properly executed within the discussed timeframe
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide solutions to Merchants
What You Will Need
At least 3 years of relevant experience (project management, sales etc)
Familiarity with SQL and Google BigQuery to run and create basic queries would be a plus
Ability to communicate said concepts in a succinct, clear and concise manner (in Bahasa and English - both verbally and in writing)Strong analytical skill with a data-driven mindset
Great communication and understanding skill, able to explain technical terms in simple, understandable manner
Experienced in working with multiple stakeholders from different backgrounds with good level of empathy
Clear understanding of Gojek services and the tech industry
About the Team
The Sales Excellence team is an integral part of the Greater Sales Team, and based in HQ Office Jakarta, Indonesia. We work closely with both the Sales Strategy, product, function teams as well as the Sales team in the regions. Our primary focus is to ensure that the company’s KRs are achieved by providing the support the sales team needed to excel in their job, which could vary from devising new processes, enhancing existing processes to becoming a consultant to problem-solve complex issues.
In the past, our team has created SOP documents for sales operational processes which continuously serve as foundational guidelines to the sales team nationwide. As we continue to oversee and ensure proper implementation of those processes, we also manage various projects (from small to large scale) that directly support company’s KRs, help sales team and our merchant partners to perform at their fullest capacity including roll out of multiple merchant onboarding flows, roll out of new sales tools to internal sales team and implementation of deviation process flows due to Covid-19 conditions impacting sales and merchants’ operations. Going forward, we expect to manage and execute more problem solving and analytical projects to support our sales team and ultimately our merchant partners’ to fulfill their business needs.
In our spare time, we exercise everyday (just kidding!) - we discuss the shows we watch on Netflix (or whichever streaming service our favorite show is on right now), we enjoy conversations over coffees, we do book swaps because we love to read, we eat good food and we exercise (sometimes).
