Job Description

Summary
Main Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities / Tasks :
  • Responsible for physical trading of organic or speciality grains & soybean across Indonesia
  • Collaborate with each member of the supply chain to ensure smooth execution of the trade
  • Developing new relationships with suppliers and customers to increase market exposure
  • Analyse current market trends and perform market research to introduce innovative marketing techniques to explore new markets for trade
  • Oversee market trend and conduct supply & demand analyses across Indonesia for grains & soybean meal
  • Responsible for physical sourcing and selling of corn & soybean soacross Indonesia
  • Liaise with internal team to ensure high quality products are made, smooth execution of shipments, and timeliness of payments
  • Daily position and P&L reporting on corn & soybean meal
  • Analysed in-house and external data to extract key information in identifying potential new clients and business opportunities
  • Coordinate the flow of information and goods among manufacture, internal and customers to ensure smooth delivery of right item to right place at the right time
  • establish and maintain good relationship with grains & soybean players to understand the market situation
  • Mapping local grains & soybean across Indonesia and monthly update of hard demand file
  • Metrics to improve visibility understanding of local demand and local stocks
  • Indonesia grains & soybean demand updated and manage the purchases and sales offers of grains & soybean
  • Liaising with internal and external teams for the supply chain processes from contract signing, production, quality control, delivery and payment
  • Look for new opportunities in grains & soybean segment for business expansion
  • Increase the number of buyers generated by cold-calling or visiting more prospects
Experiences
Key Qualifications / Experience :
  • Bachelor degree in any reputable university
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience trading grains & soybean
  • A strong knowledge of the Indonesia Grain & soybean market is desirable
  • Experienced in containerised trading
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Proven track record of increasing their book of business
  • Speak English fluenty both oral and written

Education
Bachelor degree in any reputable university
