Be part of a multi-disciplinary team and provide legal support that requires an ability to work collaboratively and regionally within the Legal Function and with business stakeholders who focus on sales to businesses, governments, and consumers, clinical marketing and research projects, and provider relationships.
You are responsible for
Advising Government Solutions and the Business Units on various compliance areas.
Advising government sales, government contract managers and commercial deals.
Creating templates and negotiating subcontract agreements for Philips.
Maintaining an in-house bid projects practice.
Developing and delivering internal training materials to sales force, supply chain and legal personnel on government contract and compliance-related topics.
Acts as senior professional based on deep experience.
Uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
Distinguished by additional specialized knowledge in breadth and/or depth, as well as record of success in relevant discipline.
Viewed as an expert in the field. May have a leadership role. Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
Arranges tailor-made contracts, often derived from non-standard model.
Provides expert resolution of issues and monitors integration of work.
Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
8 to 12 years post qualified experience with a reputable law degree and/or Bar admission.
Effectively bilingual in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
In-house MNC legal experience, with some level of cross border transaction experience.
Strong commercial contracting, negotiation experience is required.
Experience in corporate compliance & data privacy.
Experience in managing corporate secretarial activities for a PT company & some corporate law experience.
Experience in healthcare or IT industry is an advantage.
Single contributor role, with overarching responsibility to partner with the country management team as legal/compliance advisor.
Resourceful & independent.
Strong sense of integrity & accountability.
Strong ability in stakeholder management & a team player.
