WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an Indonesia Authenticator Merchandising Manager that will help authenticate our brand and effectively serve our consumers in the most compelling and relevant way possible. They will prioritize consumer culture and trend at the forefront of their strategies in order to land the right product at retail and drive the Authenticator offense across the Indonesia marketplace. They will be empowered to make decisions with key stakeholders in order to hit their targets as well as build an effective account relationship to best serve the consumer. This position is based in Indonesia.

You have strong merchandising, communication and business analytical skills. You obsess the culture, trend, and lifestyle of the consumer placing them at the center of all assortment and business decisions. You are a self-starter and creative thinker with a strong collaboration and partnership mentality. You have effective verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations in English. You instill trust, act with courage, embrace and lead changes when it happens. You value differences among team members and foster effective teamwork.

You will work closely with the SNKRS/Authenticator team across Southeast Asia & India and within Asia Pacific Latin America (APLA) Geography to build strategic plans to accelerate the SNKRS/Streetwear offense across genders. You will be empowered to make decisions with key stakeholders in order to build a compelling consumer-centric assortment each season that achieves the planned revenue targets.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

  • Adopt and edit the Geo Edited Offer to best suit the needs of the Indonesia marketplace obsessing the SNKRS/Authenticator consumer.
  • Expertise in consumer culture, trend, and pulse by leveraging social media, marketplace travel, Media platforms, and partner with APLA Geo to share learnings.
  • Inform planning on product strength to derive forecasting accuracy and allocations for Indonesia by focusing on launch intent, demand-served percent, and sell-thru.
  • Engage in weekly business review meetings and assess results through the lens of SNKRS/Authenticator.
  • Communicate product shifts from Geo to the account and cross-functionally within the territory.
  • Build assortment sell-in tools to provide accounts with critical product information.
  • Co-lead presenting the assortment strategies and product to the accounts to land the seasonal goals.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

You will work within the SEA&I NBHD/Authenticator Merchandising team in partnership with the APLA Merchandising team to help bring the right assortment to the marketplace each season. You will partner closely with the accounts to build a strong partnership and support to help execute the seasonal strategy and achieve the financial targets. You will also have a cross-functional team that you will work closely with across planning, marketing, and operations to ensure seamless execution each season. WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Business or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of directly relevant experience in the following functions: Merchandising or Category Management and Account Management.
  • Strong Product Merchandising & strong Business Acumen
  • Ability to Understand Retail Math
  • Culture, trend, Consumer Expertise
  • Good knowledge of Marketplace insights, assortment strategies, Serving members O2O (online to offline/offline to online) & in-season business management
  • Strong Teamwork & accountability
