Job Description

Position Purpose:

To provide direct support and guidance to Semisolid and Non-Sterile Liquid Operators, ensuring they perform manufacturing & packaging processes in a compliant , safe , effective and efficient manner. As our frontline leadership, your leadership presence on the Production Floor is fundamental to the success of your team and ensuring they deliver on their commitments. Your leadership presence will keep colleagues focused and engaged and is fundamental to your own success in the role.

Primary Duties:

  • Supervising daily activities to ensure compliance in Quality, Safety, effective and efficient operations by :
  • Ensuring Semisolid and Non-Sterile Liquid manufacturing and packaging areas, machine, and facilities in good condition, tidy and safe.
  • Verifying critical process in daily production for manufacturing and packaging processes.
  • Reviewing all GMP documents (e.g., packaging (batch record/LHF, logbooks) to ensure that all activities were follow approved procedures/instructions and appropriated documented properly as per Data Integrity and Good Documentation Practices principles.
  • Ensuring production personnel who performing Semisolid and Non-Sterile Liquid manufacturing and packaging activities are trained and qualified.
  • Executing purchase manufacturing supplies based on budget availability.

Shift rotation will be applied to supervise daily operation including weekend operation.

  • Responsible for ensuring that PGS Jakarta delivers on customer expectations of supplying quality products. Schedule Adherence against the Production Plan, and delivery of committed production volumes is critical.
  • Actively involved on IMEX implementation in their area to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency (e.g., involve on Tier-0, Tier-1 meeting and Tier 2 Meeting (if assigned by manager in Tier 2) on daily & weekly basis.
  • Drive team engagement and effective communication within the team.
  • Actively support in other activities as follows:
  • Provide information on investigation process lead by Investigation team in their areas.
  • Environmental, health & safety (EHS) program and activities.
  • BPOM, Manufacturing & Supplier Assessments (MSQA), and third party quality audit.
  • Validation/qualification activities.
  • Site projects

Required Experiences:

  • Minimum of 3 years+ of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Experience
  • Strong understanding of GMP.
  • Proven ability to engage, develop and lead colleagues in a dynamic and changing work environment.
  • Clear understanding of Human Resource Management (appointment/termination of colleagues, performance management, leave management, remuneration review)
  • Clear understanding of EH&S Compliance (incident management, rehabilitation, environmental controls)

Required Education:

Tertiary Degree in Pharmacy

Desired Experiences:

  • Certified Six Sigma Yellow Belt
  • Lean Manufacturing Trained

Required Technical Competencies:

  • GMP Knowledge: Trained and experienced in GMP fundamentals of operating a compliant facility.
  • Operations Knowledge: Understanding of Operations Equipment, processes and performance.
  • People Management: Ability to lead, engage focus and inspire a large team.
