About the Role
Roll up your sleeves and climb on board if you’re ready to be our next District Head for Palembang. As our District Head, you will play a pivotal role in curating and deploying strategies as well as doing analytics at the District and finding local insights. You will work closely with the sales, marketing, operations, and business analyst teams in your day-to-day tasks, and also develop and maintain strong relationships with the government, merchants, associations and various communities. On top of that, you will work collaboratively with all troops in the district as well as collaboration with the Region team to oversee overall operations and ensure strategic implementation including product changes and ensuring that everything that transpires is aligned with Gojek's goals &values.
What You Will Do
Accountable for topline (ie : transaction, revenue) and bottom line metrics (ie ; cost, profit) of District.
Fully accountable to build, maintain and continuously improve business operations of District to ensure efficient operation on day-to-day basis, and achieve the target
Accountable for demand (partner acquisition) and supply of the District (ie : retention & activities)
Design and implement localized marketing campaign
Work closely with stakeholders & leadership in Region Level to develop and execute market strategies
Takes full ownership of the city’s budget and target
What You Will Need
At least 7 years experience with extensive exposure to District operations with exposure to BTL Marketing
Ability to bridge, develop and maintain good relationships with key partners, local/regional government stakeholders. 3rd party partners, merchant associations, communities (i.e. Driver community)
Strong in planning, leadership, managerial skill , result driven, target oriented with proven track records
Very good in number, excellent in analyzing data and using analytics to make decision (PPT, sheet, excel)
Proficient in English & Bahasa, strong communication & interpersonal skill
Able to recruit to-notch talent team, nurture & mentor them
Flexible and willing to travel & relocate across region
About the Team
Our District team, a subsidiary of the Operations & Sales Region Sumatera, consists of more than 20 people based in Palembang.
One of our main goals is to strengthen our market share in the SEA market, combining strategy with local insights to propel our business onwards and upwards. We are in charge of maintaining a holistic view of Gojek within the District team, constantly striving to better understand the region's issues from the ground up and provide tech-based solutions and actionable steps forward. We also collaborate with internal (Product Management and other cross-functional teams) and external (driver-partners, merchant-partners, and customers) stakeholders to keep a holistic view of Gojek, we strive to understand the region's issues and work to solve them with on-point actions and deliverables. Lastly, We ensure our platform is at the top of the minds of consumers at the same time improving our partner's life (drivers and merchants) and their experiences using our services.
In the past, our team has worked on projects predominantly surrounding our driver-partners - their experiences using our services, their life cycle, their engagement with the company, and growing our driver partner family, among other things. One of our favorite projects was a collaboration with the Gojek foundation to hand out scholarships to some of our driver-partners. More than establishing Gojek as the most trusted partner in the Region (and beyond), we want to make sure our driver-partners genuinely enjoy being part of our family, and work to make sure they understand how appreciated they are.
It’s indeed a lot of work but we believe we work for the greater good hence we always feel everyday is challenging but satisfying. As now, working from home has been a strange time for a lot of us, so our team has been taking time on our calls to trade advice on the best ways to keep sane with this new work set up. We’re made up of cycling enthusiasts, video game lovers, and talk show fanatics. Once COVID subsides, we’re excited to get together for our weekly in-person hang outs once again.
Planning, developing, budgeting, and implementing promotional programs and activities including communication collaterals.
Have experience in retail business.
