About the Role

Data Analyst (Risk Research) is an exciting new function within the Gojek Risk Analytics team. You will be working within a team of talented risk analysts to solve risk challenges such as fraud, abuse, physical safety and sabotage to make Gojek a safe and trusted platform. In particular, in collaboration with Risk Strategy and Risk Data Science teams, you will perform experiments, exploratory studies, data reviews, and work on new techniques for proactive risk detection and recommend solutions for their mitigation in a super app ecosystem.

About the Team
Our objective as Gojek’s Risk Team is to ensure a safe and trusted platform that our users can trust, rely on, and love to come back to. To manifest that objective, we analyze suspected fraud cases and customer complaints and propose resolutions & SOP to improve Trust and Safety for all Gojek users. We use big data with human intelligence to make the best decision. For instance, team members will work with Risk managers and Business teams to detect potential risks on Gojek platform and develop logic and algorithm to accurately establish the ground truth of the risk types and modus operandi and work with risk managers to come up with solutions to prevent and mitigate losses and improve user experience.
Our Risk Analytics team currently consists of members based in Indonesia, India and Singapore and we’re a tight-knit group who are bonded by two things: Trust and Safety and personal growth and well-being. We work hard and play hard, and support each other. What drives us is our shared sense of Trust and Safety. Risk Analytics encompasses the following 4 areas: risk performance analytics, risk metrics and foresight, risk research, risk data assets.
