Provide CSA / MEP cost management and control from inception, through design, pre-construction, procurement, construction to final account.
Prepare and manage the construction budgets, assist in the collation and reporting of all project costs via consolidated documentation.
To conduct feasibility studies and writing procurement reports
To apply Value Management techniques at the outset of a project and where appropriate involve Turner & Townsend’s specialist Value Management team
To manage estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of and present the final cost plan
To ensure that post-contract cost variances and change control processes are managed effectively
To ensure that cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively
To ensure the production of monthly post-contract cost reports and present them to the client
Value engineering and life cycle costing
To ensure that final accounts are negotiated and agreed; validate the monthly payment claims and prepare payment recommendation for MEP related works/packages.
Provide a full post contract cost management service, assist with the costing of all changes and the management thereof, validate progress and payment applications and assist with the compilation of the final account.
Prior CSA / MEP cost management experience is essential with minimum 5 - 10 years' experience in related fields
Prior experience in hitech-manufacturing / data centre construction.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Cost Management or related technical field
Experience from consultancy background, well versed with CSA / MEP work experience is preferred.
Excellent client relationship skills
Excellent verbal and written business communication skills, experience in preparing client cost reports
