Department purpose

Our Information Technology (IT) teams consists of IT professionals with expertise on their own and we work seamlessly being the initial point of contact for any IT related issues from strategy, infrastructure to security. We are committed to equip our employees with the best technological tools, software and program to ensure pleasant working experience in delivering high quality services to our clients.

We are looking to expand IT capability in Jakarta to strengthen the IT strategy, infrastructure and security.

Role purpose

The IT Officer acts as an IT business partner – the IT ambassador for the management and the other business departments. As a trusted IT advisor, the IT officer is the primary IT contact to our employees and is responsible for strategic and operational technical supports within the agreed framework of policies and processes locally and globally.

The IT Officer is also responsible for devising strategic IT blueprint for the Jakarta office including short to long term infrastructure plan. The IT officer is driving technological adoption and challenging the status quo to deliver impacts. We are looking for a strategic IT Officer to join our IT department in Jakarta.

Key relationships
  • Work with internal customers and external clients to deliver a professional, customer focused service; prioritising according to the set Service Level Agreements (SLA) and applicable polices.
  • Work with the wider Asia Pacific IT team to ensure a seamless approach to support and security across applications and infrastructure.
  • Report to IT Manager or IT Team Leader to deliver an efficient and effective services and innovative programs.

Role and responsibilities

Strategic Area
  • Engage frequently with the stakeholders to educate and proactively advise the latest technological requirements and changes;
  • Identify areas for innovation in line with the firm’s IT strategy and blue print;
  • Prepare and manage Jakarta annual IT budget;
  • Develop IT related policies and procedure applicable for the Jakarta office;
  • Offer solutions or programs to technical and non-technical problems;
  • Become the first point of contact for Jakarta Business Continuity Management including Emergency Response Plan;
  • Engage and work with both local and regional suppliers to deliver services in line with agreed SLAs;
  • Lead commercial and contract negotiations (including procurement processes) in relation to IT services for Jakarta.

Operational Area:
  • Monitor and maintain documentation of IT assets in a regular and systemised manner;
  • End to end ownership of local IT incidents and requests including progress management to the stakeholders;
  • Manage the Incident Management System in accordance with the SLA;
  • Assist in the investigation and resolution of incidents and problems relating to application, infrastructure and/or, operating and network systems;
  • Carry out agreed operational and specified maintenance procedures of a routine nature including initiates corrective action if processes fail;
  • Meet all OLA Service activity targets in line with performance targets defined for the technology service;
  • Flexible with hours in order to fully support the regional team and to ensure the effective running of the operation outside of working hours as required.

Role requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Information System from notable university;
  • A minimum of 6 years working experience in the area of IT strategy or IT service management;
  • Proven experience in business partnering, especially managing executives level;
  • Experience with Microsoft products (office/OS), ServiceNow Service Desk application is a must;
  • Knowledge and experience with Video Conferencing and Audio Visual technology;
  • Knowledge of Service Desk operations, IT best practice, industry trends and digitalisation;
  • Creative and self-motivated individual with proactive and solution-driven mind-set. Knowledge in app development or algorithm is a plus;
  • Strong logic to manage high level projects and troubleshoot in a structured manner;
  • Strong business acumen and hands-on experience in business continuity management to manage business critical incidents and their implications to business;
  • Excellent team players with the ability to establish strong rapports with stakeholders from both local and international;
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia with the ability to explain technical instructions in a non-technical way.

Qualifications

Ideally the candidate should have the following or equivalent:
  • Accreditation in relevant technologies (Microsoft/Cisco etc.)
  • ITIL V.3 Foundation
