About the Role
Fasten your helmet and climb on board if you’re ready to be our Merchant Lifecycle Associate. Together with the Merchant Lifecycle Head and stakeholders in the Product & Business teams, you'll be instrumental in crafting a go-to-market strategy for the GoBiz app. Collaborating closely with the Product, Sales, Marketing and Operations teams, you'll employ your excellent business acumen and project management capabilities to improve the Merchant Platform's current business process. In our humble opinion, the coolest part of this role is your ability to directly influence stakeholders by providing insights and recommendations on what the future business process of the team should look like.
What You Will Do
Evaluate business practices and initiate new projects that aim to improve the Merchant Platform's business processes
Develop, monitor, and elevate the performance of the Merchant Platform's vital business systems and processes
Ensure the completeness of all projects under your domain
Present business findings and recommendations clearly and confidently to sponsors and key stakeholders
What You Will Need
A Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Computer Science
At least 3 years of relevant business process work experience
Strong business process execution with a "constant improvement" attitude
Strong project management and stakeholder management skills to effectively present your findings to stakeholders of all levels
A logical and creative outlook; ability to identify and diagnose problems and find low-cost, innovative solutions
Excellent analytical skills; hands-on experience in crunching data - from scoping the analysis, conducting queries in BigQuery, to creating reports on Google Data Studio or Metabase
About the Team
Our Merchant Lifecycle team is a small family of 10 based in Jakarta, Indonesia. As one of the key stakeholders in the Gojek ecosystem, merchant-partners are involved in various offerings, such as food delivery, offline payment acceptance, POS, financial services, deals, and promotions. Working alongside the Business and Product groups, we are predominantly concerned with helping our merchant-partners grow their businesses and operate efficiently, providing the services, products and tools to see this through.
We constantly work to improve the merchant-partner experience, ensuring their needs, concerns, and feedback are heard and guide our decision-making process. We prioritize having acute project management and coordination skills to attend to all of our merchant-partners and related stakeholders, ensuring projects and deliverables are finished on time and at the utmost quality, and that we provide seamless end-to-end processes to follow.
In the past, our team has worked on several merchant-partner projects, such as establishing a unified onboarding process that allows the GoFood, GoPay and POS merchant-partners to have a single, coherent, and easy-to-follow onboarding procedure. We’re currently working on other projects surrounding Merchant Device Management and Merchant Identity Management, all in efforts to position Gojek as the most trusted partner for all of our merchant-partners and stakeholders.
