Job Description

Give accurate and timely counsel to management in variety of legal topics

Provide legal advice related to operational matters

Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance

Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations

Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advise on possible legal issues

Communicate, negotiate and advocate with external parties to achieve government permit (regulators, external counsel, public authority, etc), creating relations of trust

Draft and solidify agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure the company's full legal rights

Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forces

Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization

Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation.
At Least a Bachelor's Degree in Law from reputable University in Indonesia

Minimum 3 years experience as a legal officer/legal staff

A good command of English, both verbal and written, min TOEFL or IELTS 6

Good legal knowledge and excellent in drafting, and negotiating legal documents both in English and Indonesian

Familiar with permit regulations flow at government

Hardworking and reliable, able to handle multiple streams of work and prioritize efficiently

Adaptable and able to learn quickly

A team player, but also a self-starter; able to work independently but also collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders

Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation

Interest in environment/ sustainability issue
