Job Overview

Have you ever dreamed about building, shaping and developing a people strategy for a company that is trying to change people’s lives while trying to build a large national footprint with an aggressive scaling plan? If so this Talent Director role is the dream job for you!
You will be reporting to the Country CEO as well as working closely with the Global Talent Director to design, develop, and implement HR programs and align the strategic people plan with Indonesia's business objectives.
As a key member of the leadership team as well as a trusted advisor to the Country CEO and be in a position of true influence as the business continues to grow.
You will be working with a growing workforce a mix of blue- and white-collar employees as well as a high number of technical staff such as Manufacturing, Network Planning, and much more.
This role will represent a real step up for someone looking to further their career with a business that will be growing rapidly in Indonesia and creating a fun workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Talent Management
    • Develop an effective talent management strategy that is critical to the success of the business and work directly with Talent Acquisition Team
    • Partner directly with the management team on workforce planning, performance management, and succession planning

    • Business Partnering
    • Act as a key strategic business partner on organization and leadership development issues in collaboration with Key Leaders.
    • Build, coordinate the Talent Operations team & liaise with Key Leaders to understand their business agenda and help them deliver their key business outcomes & overcome their people challenges
    • Partner with Global Talent Director to implement and align on Talent policies, practices, and programs within Indonesia and overall organization
    • Help bridge the gaps between the organization today to future goals and the future organization needed to achieve business goals.
    • Partnering with the leadership team to Identifying what type of talent will be needed to reach the ambitious goals and how to best set up the organization for success.
    • Partner with the leadership team to understand business needs and give Talent insights to help develop the successful business goals

    • People and Organizational Development
    • Design and develop leadership and organizational development solutions to build identified organizational/people capabilities required to achieve the organization's goals.
    • Lead the Learning & Development Committee to support a dynamic and highly performed team with structured development initiatives
    • Act as an employee champion and change agent by anticipating HR-related needs and delivering value-added services for the best performance of the company & employees
    • Champion of culture and drive inspiring culture initiatives to ensure a strong culture is within the organization.

    • Compensation and Benefits
    • Continuously improving compensation package compliance with the regulation and remain competitive with the market
    • Partnering Managers and Sr Leaders to help them understand and implement policies and procedures related to HR Compensation & Benefits policy (ie: promotion, salary increase, salary tables, etc)
    • Managing end to end Compensation architecture/structure such as Job Analysis, Job Evaluation, Job Grading, Salary structure, Employee Categorization
    • Responsible to manage payroll process and ensure compliance is met

    • HR Operations
    • Maintain employee lifecycle process and governance for all employee events from hire to offboarding.
    • Partner with Global Talent team to ensure global and local process are compliant and streamlined effectively
    • Propose and develop best HR Operations practices to ensure local compliance and business needs are met to provide a smooth Employee lifecycle
    • Point of contact for all ER cases and resolve cases with professionalism and efficiently best for employee and company
    • Providing reporting and analyses related to HR Metrics that can help the organization to make a "data-driven" decision. (ie: HC, Costing, Turnover, Competitiveness, etc)

Requirements:

    • At least 10 years of general Human Resource experience, with at least 4 years of experience managing and developing HR teams
    • Passionate with people development and coaching
    • Must have proven experience of managing an HR function in Indonesia and a strong understanding of local laws and regulations
    • Must be familiar with performance management, talent management frameworks & international working environment
    • Ability to provide structured people insights into the team and business in an international environment
    • Ability to work through organizational complexity and work with different stakeholders at multiple levels throughout the organization in a fast-paced agile environment
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate your ideas and resolve sensitive people-related matters in a clear yet empathetic manner across all levels within the organization
    • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and leverage HR strategies to drive measurable business results
    • Strong business-facing skills, including the ability to push back whenever necessary and balance multiple priorities simultaneously
    • Fluency in Indonesian Bahasa (native) and English is essential
