Jotun Indonesia, established in 1996, is a leading player in the Paints and Coatings industry in the country. The company operates in 4 segments – Decorative Paints; and Performance Coatings comprising of Marine, Protective and Powder Coatings and is the market leader in all 3 segments of Performance Coatings. Jotun Indonesia operates two production facilities – one for wet paints in Cibitung and the other for powder coatings in Legok. High service standards to customers including dealers are maintained through a Distribution Hub in Jakarta, supported by a network of warehouses around the country. Support the department for enlisting Jotun products in specifications of maximum projects by developing contacts with architects and consultants in order to ensure Jotun’s specifications are approved and followed at all project levels for profitable sales growth

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Sales Manager in getting approvals on Jotun products for most of the projects in assigned country by providing necessary technical and commercial information in order to increase the chances of securing projects.
  • Maintain updated database on all important construction projects and architects in in assigned country.
  • Build up strong business network within selected professional group of consultants, architects, designers and project specifiers by initiating contacts to support Jotun’s specifications approvals by project decision makers
  • Conduct technical and commercial trainings/orientation sessions at seminars to increase Jotun’s visibility and maximise sales through architect channel.
  • Identify and map projects in assigned country, influence the decision makers to ensure Jotun specifications are approved and securing projects for Jotun’s business benefit
  • Monitor construction and paint industry market status and use the collected data to support Jotun’s position in market by promoting and implementing Jotun products and concepts in order to be the paint supplier leader in market
  • Support the sales team in achieving sales target by securing approvals for Jotun specifications, updating them on project activities and status in order to ensure successful completion of sales process of Jotun to assigned projects.
  • Initiate, develop and maintain long term relationships with specifiers by regular visits, conducting presentations and attending seminars
  • Arrange regular meetings with leading architects, consultants and project owners to present Jotun as a Company and its products, including technical documentation on performance, features, etc.

Bachelor: Civil Engineering
