Job Overview:

 Provide supporting role to HSES Advisor or HSES Supervisor in the performance of their functions.

 Monitoring HSES Work Practices and Procedures are implemented in the worksite, assisting in carry out HSES Yard/Project Activity Plan in timely manner and record maintained.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • 1. Understand company philosophy and policy regarding Occupational Health, Safety and Environment.
  • 2. Have a sound knowledge of Indonesia Statutory safety requirements.
  • 3. Through knowledge of the HSEMS and report on its implementation.
  • 4. Provide input for the HSES procedures update.
  • 5. Develop a working relationship with all employees with the aim of obtaining understanding on both sided of yard management requirements, this to include keeping safety equal with production and other responsibilities.
  • 6. Be prepared to immediately respond in the event of calls for emergency assistance.
  • 7. Assist initiate a medical of sick or injured employees.
  • 8. Inform the HSES Advisor immediately when an incident occurs or notify HSES Supervisor immediately in the absence of Advisor.
  • 9. Observe work groups for "at risk" behaviors and unsafe conditions.
  • 10. Intervene and advise workers if found committing unsafe acts.
  • 11. Observe work groups for compliance with MDR HSES Guidelines, procedures and local Safe Work Procedures.
  • 12. Minor infringements may be dealt with at supervisory level.
  • 13. Major infringements to be immediately notified to any HSES Advisor/Supervisor.
  • 14. Inspect work areas for unsafe conditions and advise persons responsible for these areas.
  • 15. Observe condition of facility and equipment (cranes, forklifts etc), report deficiencies to relevant Supervisor.
  • 16. If facility or equipment appears in dangerous condition, stop work and inform relevant Supervisor and HSES Advisor.
  • 17. Assist to maintain accurate records of personal injuries, equipment damage and near miss incidents.
  • 18. If requested, collect relevant information of incident investigation and produce a timely report.
  • 19. Following up corrective actions following accidents and inspections. 20. Provide assistance on Permit to Work issuance and maintain register in absence of PTW Clerk.
  • 21. Gather useful information for Tool Box Safety Meetings, newsletters, and Bulletins.
  • 22. Report of any HSES issue or concern to HSES Advisor or HSES Supervisor as practicable.
  • 23. Monitor and assist to both HSES department and field line supervision in the implementation of HSES programs.
  • 24. Conduct HSE assessments for project and facility, provide report for review by HSES Advisor.
  • 25. Assume the duties of HSE Advisor in his absence.
  • 26. Spend a minimum 85% of time in the field monitoring overall compliance of the yard HSE Program and Procedures.
  • 27. Observe/assist supervision during the delivery of Toolbox Talks.
  • 28. Promote the HSES Programs, HIT, BBSM, Com Card etc. across the facility.
  • 29. Monitor / update HSES Notice Boards and its information.
  • 30. Attend training, HSES meetings and Project Meetings as and when directed.
  • 31. Maintain a professional attitude and set an example to others.
  • 32. Attend and assess Foreman in the conduct of HIT Card Process.
  • 33. High standard of safe working practice, disciplined, quality and productivity as well as compliance with the code of business conducts.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Under graduated Degree / Senior High School
  • Ahli K3 Umum certified.
  • Minimum 2 Years Experienced in HSES
