About the Role
UX Illustrators provide users’ points of view by emphasizing their situation and condition and bringing them to discussions or brainstorms when collaborating with the rest of their stakeholders. They are able to translate business goals, technical problems, research points into illustrations combined with copy. They can illustrate for many different sets of audiences, produce design ideas and solutions, conduct mini or larger research projects, collaborate with other Illustrators or Designers outside the team.
What You Will Do
Work closely and under the supervision of your Illustrator lead and following the predefined process that has been set by the team
Able to comprehend with product briefs and be able to present ideas/solutions to the team under the supervision of the Illustrator lead
Effectively deliver features and improvements in a well-defined scope
Attend design reviews and give critiques accordingly
Proactively seek feedback for the work based on UX perspective
Participate in an end-to-end design process with peer researchers, designers, product, and engineering team
What You Will Need
Should have at least 1 year of experience in the UX Illustration/advertising/design industry
Major in both 2D and 3D illustrations
Can translate illustration into 3D model (cinema 4D or any other 3D software)
Possess a good knowledge of drawing fundamentals such as layout, color, composition, creative thinking in order to develop their illustrations output
Possess insatiable curiosity to know your users, and how to make their lives better
Not afraid to get your hands dirty to find out the root cause of an issue, or to validate your illustration, either through quantitative or qualitative research
Great communication skills in English and Indonesian
Able to create a prototype to validate ideas and features
