ROLE SUMMARY
The MAS Patient Care role is an externally facing role and engaging directly with patients and patient advocacy organisations to generate insights and map the patient journey across Pfizer’s therapeutic areas of Oncology and Rare Disease. The role also aims to work with patients to facilitate co-create educational and awareness materials or support tools and services.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Patient Insights and Patient Journey
Provide detailed insights on the patient experience back to the business
Facilitate the lived experience patient journey in key therapeutic areas for Pfizer Inc
Feed insights and journey into the access strategy and launch excellence where required
Identify areas of unmet need and inequity where Pfizer could assist
Identify areas of improvement for timely and accurate diagnosis
Identify areas to assist patients with the navigation of the system
Patient education
Providing hands on patient education
Quality Use of Medicines
Facilitating authentic co-creation of education materials for patients
Facilitate digital ad boards with patients
Role informs patient educational material
Facilitate Usability testing for patients – websites/apps
Patient champion
Act as internal advocate for patients- patient centricity and participation in Patient Ambassadors Network
Share insights and bridge to the HCP community
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: health science related discipline (Medical Doctor, Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy, Psychology, Biology)
Pharmaceutical industry, clinical, research or academic experience preferred
Knowledge of clinical research and clinical development processes desirable
Good communication skill
