AREA SALES MANAGER

Above the Clouds Natural Wear is a premium Men’s wear brand, created in 2016. We offer high quality natural fabric garments manufactured by local artisans with a focus on developing our project ethically, from our Bali base. We are committed to offer our customers the best quality products and exceptional Boutique experience. For time being we are operating two Boutiques in Ubud and one in Canggu. In order to support our development, we are looking for a Area Sales Manager. The Area Sales Manager will serve as an ambassador and general manager helping us keep our commitment in providing exceptional customer service and brand experience, at our retail stores. He/she will organize and oversee the operations of our Bali stores.

He/she will assume responsibility for the overall success of the stores by setting targets, supervising store manager and sales team and ensuring they are attained. He/she will:

- Execute company strategies through maximizing business development

- Develop Bali Sales by managing new shops opening, team development, team building

- Optimize store performance, meet and exceed expectations

- Set goals and objectives for retail teams

- Enliven retail sale team activity, participation is consistent and well managed

- Ensure a high standard of service provided in-stores, visual standards, customer service and efficiency

- Monitor retail operations, merchandise and inventory

- Enforce company value

He/She will have minimum 5 years’ experience in Fashion Retail Management / Retail Operations experience, especially in a luxury fashion retail environment. In particular:

- Strategic mindset - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to display good leadership qualities, enthusiasm to motivate and drive a team

- Excellent time management and organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task effectively

- Highly detail-oriented

- Ability to prioritize workload efficiently and able to work on a flexible schedule

- High mobility in Bali on a daily base

- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales and profit results, with strong business acumen and ability to meet business goals through driving results in store

- Excellent abilities in visual merchandising and sales development are essential for the role

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Additional details on responsibilities and company top management expectations:

- Be able to provide clear and prompt responses to inquiries and requests from top management

- Report to top management on progress and issues

- Assist upper management in decisions for expansion or acquisition

- Be able to offer appropriate solutions to customers inquiries

- Recruit, onboard, and develop all retail store staff and foster a coaching environment. Collaborate with founders to improve inductions and training, enhance the development path and provide skills/knowledge coaching to all levels within retail teams

- Conduct and lead key meetings with retail teams

- Lead a team of 12 plus towards effective collaboration and attainment of goals

- Conduct operational store visits to ensure compliance with retail operations standards across all stores, execute standards in-store operations, stock management, visual merchandising

- Ensure structure is provided for the retail teams, policies and procedures, trading feedback process, trading calendar and monitoring all communication channels - Follow loss prevention policies to minimize potential shrink

- Create a vision of retail excellence and strategies necessary to deliver results
