As part of an ongoing commitment to improve our business functions and expand our international footprint, there is now an exciting opportunity for an experienced Industrial Participation Analyst Sr Staff to ensure compliance, provide frequent oversight and engagement with specified third-party companies. This position is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Relocation and visa support will be provided, if required.

As a vital team member, your responsibilities will include (not limited to):
  • Conduct or support financial and operational audits of Third Parties (Business Development Consultants, Industrial Participation partners or indigenous suppliers and subcontractors), as well as transactional audits.
  • Examine Third Party records to ensure accurate and proper recording of transactions and compliance with applicable laws, agreements and policies.
  • Provide Ethics & Compliance training (e.g. gifts and hospitalities training) and assistance with ethics and compliance program implementation and management to Third Parties.
  • Identify and articulate anti-corruption and other red flags and maintain discretion as needed; as well as propose risk mitigation solutions and work with divisions and subsidiaries in implementing approved solutions.
  • Support in evaluating and recommending improvements to business practices, processes and control procedures.
  • Coordinate with and assist LM outside counsel or independent auditor with investigations of Third Parties, including meetings and interactions with customers and Third Parties as directed by the Legal Department.
  • Manage cross-corporate coordination and support the development and implementation of industrial cooperation/offset programs of current and/or future industrial cooperation obligations with the Industrial Development team to meet cross-corporate needs
  • Liaise with offset authorities and build relationships with local defence industries to support Industrial Development activities.

About you:

Our ideal candidate will have Bachelor's Degree in related discipline from an accredited college and at least 15 years of experience in finance & risk management/compliance understanding (including legal and ethical)/legal/business development. You will have skills in:
  • Excellent command of the English both oral and written and strong communication skills. Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is highly desirable.
  • Ability to maintain objectivity while maintaining strong working relationships with Third Parties and strong work ethic with highest degree of integrity. Demonstrated ability to act with diplomacy and discretion with stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding in finance, risk management and compliance. Hands-on experience in these areas are highly desirable.
  • Holding Certified Fraud Examiner is highly advantageous. Experience in risk management/auditing/legal and/or compliance is highly desirable.

Special Requirements:

  • Candidates must be able to obtain work rights in Indonesia.
  • Travelling may be required (regional travel including to Taiwan).
