About Our Client

A multinational data centre company who is currently in the midst of expansion and looking for a Data Center Facility Manager to assist them at this time of growth.

Job Description

  • Leads and ensures smooth 24x7 running of the operations in the 'in-country' data center
  • Acts as Level 3 escalation point by overseeing and resolving all on site operational incidents and major issues, including any change management activities
  • Manages M&E, security, network and plumbing systems of the building, critical facilities equipment and other equipment associated to DC environment (i.e. fire safety, plumbing, etc)
  • Designs, reviews and implements best in class DC operations based on ITIL and industry practices
  • Guides teams to improve services and processes within the DC, while ensuring adherence to customer's SLAs
  • Responsible for reviewing and improving of the preventive maintenance program on an ongoing basis
  • Leads in incident, problem and change management to minimise impact to customer services
  • Reviews the safe work responsibilities and ensure strict adherence to the safety requirements, procedures, laws and regulations
  • Leads all facility management/data center related certifications and implements related compliance for both internal and external customers
  • Develops and reviews all policies, SOPs and Emergency Operating Procedures and implements service improvement programs
  • Generates and provides periodic reports for management review and meetings
  • Reviews and approves purchase orders for replacement parts, equipment, etc and support vendor reviews
  • Any other duties or project as assigned by the Management

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computing/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Possesses relevant facilities management and/or data center related certifications, such as ITIL, CDCP, CDCS, CCNA, CCNP or equivalent, etc
  • Familiar with certification standards, such as LEED Gold, ISO 20000/22301/27001, Uptime Institute Tier III, etc
  • At least 8 years of relevant work experience with last 2 years at managerial capacity, managing the operations of a 24x7 critical data center facilitiy
  • Good knowledge in M&E and building facilities related systems, such as CRAUs, Chiller, PDUs, DRUPS, UPS, Switch Gears Ops, DC cooling, Network structure cabling, Security, etc
  • Prepared to lead and support major data center activities
  • Good knowledge in local codes and regulations related to DC operations and facility management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Experience in communicating effectively with customers from PRC based companies
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team of specialists/engineers to achieve the organisation strategic goals
  • Good vendor management and collaboration skills to works with cross functional teams
  • Flexible with work location (Jakarta City, Bekasi, remote working arrangement such as from home) being assigned to by the company
