Job Description

JOB DETAIL

Responsibilities:

  • Fixing cargo for vessels space
  • Doing market research and presentation
  • Maintain and improving relationship with customers
  • Looking for new customers
  • Monitoring market movement/trends
  • Exploring new market and charterer
  • Monitoring vessel movement together with Operation
  • Planning customer visit (existing and new)
  • Finding and prospecting suitable cargo to fill the vessel
  • Checking vessel suitability for the cargo
  • Calculating freight
  • Negotiating with customer to meet competitive rate and best level of service
  • Fixin cargo according to expectation/budget
  • Carefully checking charter party clauses
  • Updating vessel schedule
  • Planning vessel next voyage based on market situation
  • Preparing proposal for COA (Contract of Affreightment) cargo
  • Continuously updating tanker market situation with presentation
  • Building and maintaining relationship customers and/or related parties
  • Track development of project within industry
  • Customer visit and presentation
  • Preparing report including activity/performance report, market analysis report
  • Preparig monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for COA
  • Ensuring QHSE management system documentation is properly done

JOB QUALIFICATION

Requreiments:

  • Bachelor degree in any field.
  • Minimal 0-4 years of working in shipping/chartering/sea experience are preferred, freshgraduates are welcome to apply.
  • Fluent in English both oral and written, chinese language will be an advantage.
  • Having knowledge of: Shipping/chartering/brokering/media/marketing & sales experience, shipping knowledge preferred (General liquid cargo, Vessel knowledge & International convention, Pre-fixture & Post-fixture, B/L & Marine Insurance), computer literate, presentation skill, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001
  • Have achievement orientation, good interpersonal relationship, customer service orientation, good in negotiation skill, orientation to detail, able to analyze and use sound judgement.
