Meta is looking for a high caliber manager to lead and support a team of Government, Politics and Non-profit (GPN) Partner Managers across Southeast Asia (SEA), the Greater China Region (GCR) and Central Asia. This role will also serve as one of Meta’s liaisons working with Government, NGO and civic entities in Indonesia, Brunei and Timor Leste, focusing on best practices and upskilling on Meta’s suite of commercial products. This role partners closely with Meta’s public policy, product and sales organizations to ensure we are creating best in class solutions for partners in this sector. You'll be responsible for helping build and execute a consistent global service model, supporting complex product launches for the GPN vertical, and cultivating key external stakeholder relationships with organizations across multiple countries. The ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter, a good team player, and creative problem solver that is able to switch easily between detailed work and high-level strategic thinking. This candidate will also have experience managing scaled education or external partnership teams and have partnered with government, political or non-profit organizations in the digital marketing and communications space.This is a full-time position and will be based in our Singapore or Jakarta office.
Government, Politics and Non-profit Regional Lead, SEA, GCR and Central Asia Responsibilities:
Oversee team of senior Partner Managers across the APAC region who are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key partners (political parties, organizations, agencies, etc.), build trust and credibility of Meta and its products
Manage, communicate and enforce guiding principles and best practices of service model for engaging with Government, Politics and Non-profit (GPN) partners across a team in multiple Asian-pacific countries/regions
Partner with regional cross-functional partners (Public Policy, Legal, Sales, Comms, Product) to ensure consistency across countries and proper service type and level is provided to GPN entities
Identify and communicate opportunities and risks for partners across local cross-functional leadership and to APAC GPN Director
Lead and educate team to demonstrate value of Meta products as a key driver for civic engagement, inform partners of new processes and products and provides Meta best practices specific to G/P/N
Serve as point of escalation for issues that arise across region(s) with respect to clients, ensuring swift resolution of issues and escalating to proper channels
Help manage internal operations by integrating services and aligning service levels with partner teams (i.e. Meta Support Pro, policy partners, leadership)
Attend/present at events to represent Meta Advertising solutions as needed
Build and maintain close relationships with Country Directors in the region, as well as Policy & Comms leads plus other key stakeholders in-market.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ Years experience partnering with or working with Government entities, Political or Non-profit Organizations (in an digital communications or marketing context)
Experience influencing and proven ability to forge relationships with government, political or non-profit partners at the leadership level
Ability to perform well in highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is required for this role because the GPN Lead will cultivate and support relationships in Indonesia
5+ Years experience working on digital media platforms, advertising metrics and industry trends
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Experience working with cross functional teams with the ability to influence executive stakeholders
Ability to travel regionally as needed (40% travel)
7+ Years experience managing an external-facing team, across multiple locations
Support QA function and handling foreign country's regulation check to export the products.
