Responsibilities :
1. Have a strong understanding of security policies, standards and procedures that are in place and implement them or advise other how to do so. Notify appropiate senior manager of gaps, local issues and threats that may require review and potentially amending.
2. Have a strong understanding of regulations recorded in the Key Obligation Register, DBSI Security documents, emergency response team, and incident response and security awareness programmes.
3. Provide timely and useful management reports through succesful completion of reports on time. Keep management aware, in a timely manner, of the progress of security programmes.
4. Deliver security awareness and training programs to instil a culture of collective and individual responsibilities for practicing good security at all times.
5. Develop contacts and ability to source and collate security intelligence, trends and emerging issues, both globally and locally, as required.
6. Assist in building and maintaining a bank-wide unit security networl to promote security awareness that integrates to the unit operational risk management programme.
7. Conduct regular security risk assessment and inspections of new and existing buildings, office, retail branch and outsourced service providers facilities, as required.
8. Ensuring identified persons implement findings and ensure tracking and resolution of security risk issues in accordance with group policies standards and frameworks.
9. Undertake other tasks as directed by Head of FCSS.
Requirements :
1. Bachelor Degree Holder from any discipline.
2. Ability to plan and adopt sense of urgency in achieving goals via leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Demonstrable planning, organisation skills and delivery experience.
4. Good pragmatic and analytical skills with an ability to deliver results appropriate for organisation, and business environment.
5. Good communicator and proactive team member with the ability to cooperate effectively with business partners over both the short-term and long-term period.
6. Firm and self motivated, good with technology, training, presentation and well presented and good report writing skills.
