Job Description Summary

The Project Manager role is responsible for driving and managing wing-to-wing projects of localization for GE Healthcare Indonesia business, and developing common Project Management methodology which is shared and understood among stakeholders. The role also provides coordination of GE resources, to ensure smooth execution of GE Healthcare’s localization project in Indonesia.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • The Project Manager is responsible for the implementation of GE Healthcare localization project in Indonesia, ensuring that all milestones are completed in a timely manner, with quality, in accordance with defined global standards, milestones and customer satisfaction KPI.
  • Working with cross functional teams, regional business leaders and business unit leaders to co-ordinate and execute the localization plan for GEHC Indonesia
  • Work closely with supply chain team and be the point of contact for all the localization needs
  • Define processes, IT tools, trainings, value stream, etc. to be used by the manufacturing community as part of the localization project
  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
  • Has some ability to propose different solutions in addressing complicated issues or challenges that may arise in the planning and execution of the localization project
  • Uses some judgement, technical experience, analytical thinking, and multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in Manufacturing and Projects & Initiatives or equivalent years of relevant experience
  • Strong project management skills are required. Demonstrates business management and resource allocation skills including business plan development
  • Leadership skills to lead and influence teams and shape/lead growth vision and business strategy
  • Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams, across levels within and across organizations
  • Skilled expertise with Microsoft Office Products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project.
  • Must be able to travel 40-50% and above in the country when required.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills (English and Bahasa)
  • Demonstrates ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Effective decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
  • Candidates with a project management certification would be added advantage
