About the Role
In this role, you will play an integral role in discovering and designing new ways to unlock the change-making power of Indonesian people.
BhinnekaLab is a function within YABB that powers the research and development initiatives. Our mission is to design science backed tools, products and services to remove barriers for Indonesian people, especially the underserved populations to thrive.
Currently BhinnekaLab is focusing on:
  • Discovering the patterns (mindset and/or traits) possessed by Indonesian Changemakers that is uniquely Indonesian
  • Designing science backed tools and intervention method to nurture these mindset and traits
  • Creating online and offline resources that is easily accessible by our community

You will work directly with the Head of BhinnekaLab, Program Associates, the Implementation Partner, and closely with the rest of the Foundation’s team. You will play a role in executing and monitoring the education pillar program’s technical plan, specifically all programs under BhinnekaLab.


What You Will Do

  • Design Roadmap and Approaches - on how best to execute a certain problem statement or research, based on relevant data, insights, needs of our stakeholders
  • Project Management - monitor and execute the BhinnekaLab program, including: Research Scoping, Desk Research, Data Analysis, Content Development, Proposals, Roadmap and Report
  • Stakeholder Management - build relationship and handle coordination with Implementation Partners and our community to find areas of synergies and ensure smooth coordination and execution
  • White Space Thinking – explore new ideas and unmet needs to design new approaches and solutions

What You Will Need

  • Minimum 5 year experience in leading projects and managing different stakeholders, including planning work, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, and delivering results.
  • Enjoy and has experience in reading literature/academic journals. Has a vision and passion to address people/education issues in Indonesia
  • Has experience analyzing research data and apply basic statistics in Excel
  • Has leadership and organization experiences. Experience in Google suite/Microsoft Office Applications (preferably familiar with data management and analysis with Excel/Google Sheets).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team and ability to multitask in a fast-paced, technical environment.
