Ensure appropriate client onboarding process including right levels of KYC due diligence and KYC file quality based on policy adherence are applied for any clients being onboarded within the local booking location / entity.
Ensure right levels of controls and governance are established around any processes within client onboarding team including but not limited to static account opening controls, NLS screening, NCA and reviews (PR / EDR).
Partner with local AFC to ensure there is full policy and local regulatory compliance around onboarding standards
Partner with regional project teams to support regional and global project and change initiatives and ensure achievement of right outcomes and targets for respective locations.
Involve in the meetings with key business partners, stakeholders including AFC and other operations groups e.g. Sales Support to understand COB specific requests or requirements and discuss strategic initiatives to review and improve COB client service, function and processes.
Drive prioritization of COB deliverables and initiatives within location in consultation with regional and local stakeholders.
Monitor and measure key risk indicators, process/conditions of satisfaction metrics and ensure timely escalation of any issues.
Ensure team and functions under management are fully compliant with DB policy and local as well as global regulatory requirements.
Key Relationships / Interaction
Support Global Banking and Global Markets products and business lines for KYC Client Onboarding and Periodic Review and establish strong business relationships / partnership with respective local business team.
Liaise with FO Business Managers, AFC with reference to Client Documentation to streamline requests as part of the E2E workflow as much as possible without compromising on due diligence requirements.
Develop strong relationships and partnership with AFC organization locally to ensure alignment of approach around controls and governance across 1st and 2nd lines of defence.
Establish strong working relationships with regional teams including risk & Control groups, project teams and SME teams within COB to ensure there is mutually beneficial relationship with the country being able to tap on regional expertise while providing transparency around issues requiring wider support / escalation.
Qualifications
Moderate or strong working knowledge of client AML/KYC requirements involving CIP and PCR and client KYC documentation required
Strong analytical/problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Strong client service skills, with experience of working with and providing high quality “supplier service” to product processing areas.
Ability to meet deadlines while working with minimal management supervision and multi-tasking with strong organizational skills.
Strong communication skills via various media, e-mail, phone, face to face and conference calls
Experience of KYC management systems as well as competency in Excel, Word, (Access an advantage) and PowerPoint.
